Hubby's Crystal Haul

My day today has been very boring. Just catching up with chores (mainly laundry), trying to finish yesterday's daily quest and watching GOT in between it all. 

I really didn't think I had anything blog worthy until Hubby got home.

# Happy Birthday!
Hubby arrived home tonight with a big box and an equally big grin on his face and said "Thanks for my birthday presents bear." Mind you, his birthday is over a week away lol

I kinda figured he got a few things from my supplier today since he was on WhatsApp this arvo asking me which cluster he should get.



Now, don't get me wrong. I love crystals but I have all the crystals I want and need and then some, so unless it's super rare and I don't have it already I'm not really interested.

Hubby however is a collector. Between us he has the best crystals and usually the biggest ones so I really wasnt surprised to see the new additions to his collection.

## The Amethyst Cluster

This baby is big and beautiful with both dark and lighter shades.

And weighs over 3kgs ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

And in the crystal world, size does matter.

If you can feel the energy from a small tumbled amethyst imagine the energy coming off a huge one

In terms of points and cluster size this is definitely one of the biggest and best formed ones I've ever seen PLUS it has some special features like twins, inclusions, record keepers, elestials.

All those are special formations on crystals that add meaning and properties to the crystal.

Did I mention the back of the cluster is polished?

Did I also mention something like this can be used to charge smaller crystals? You will, of course, need to charge it every so often.

## Rainbow Fluorite Slab
Fluorite is a fab crystal. It's great for neutralizing stress and negative energies and also great for balancing one's energy. It being a rainbow also means it's suitable for all chakras ~ thus the balancing part.

I love how the bands of colour are so bold and defined. Imagine if it was smaller, say in tumbled form, you would only either see a fragment of it's beauty.

This is one of the reasons I love slabs.

# Quartz Ball

Finally he has a clear quartz ball.

Granted it's not super clear but it does have a ton of rainbows and a few inclusions which make the piece more interesting than a standard quartz sphere.

I was put on the spot and could only think to ask for 4 single terminated quartz points.

Not the biggest points I've ever seen tbh but they're better than nothing. These are going in the four corners of the grow house.

In terms of timing, we kinda missed the full moon by one day but it's still pretty huge so I reckon she's still good so told hubby to get his haul outside to charge under the full moon tonight ๐ŸŒ•

That amethyst really is a beaut!!!! And so is the Rainbow Fluorite - I especially like the properties it holds and the fact that it is suited to all chakras. Gosh it has been YEARS since I bought any raw crystals!!
