Tuesday Pour

I did say I was going to do some wire wrapping on Tuesday but the paint bug is still with me and after I tidied up Monday's mess and mixed up 1 litre of black paint, I just had to see how the black would look.

As usual I prepped 4 canvases just in case and started with a small 10x10.

# One

Nothing really much to say here. Colour wise it's ok. A lot of coral, a few streaks of metallic teal and some small cells ~ I think it's ok. 

Nothing like the Friday's first 10x10 but then again I haven't been that lucky since.

# Two

Seeing that the last two round canvases has been my favourites I figured why not do two in black?

Unfortunately it wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be....

#### 2.1
Dutch pour on black and eh...
Maybe I'm not used to black or maybe the composition wasn't doing it for me, either way I had to scrape it.

Thought I'd try a cup pour see if that made a difference and no... I ended up with a very blue center that didn't have a single cell or anything remotely interesting about it.

#### 2.3

Went back to the dutch pour and my usual method of dropping paint on the canvas + hairdryer. After 2 scrapes I was happy enough to keep this one.

In the end I think the black just isn't working for me and no matter what I did it wasn't going to make a difference.

Time to move on.

# Three
Back to white and my old trusty way of doing things. 

That said I still scraped this canvas twice before I ended up with this one.

Not quite sure what's going on with me. Maybe it's the amount of colours and paint I'm using or maybe it's my paint mix ratios, but something's been off since Friday.

I think I really need to take today off painting, chill, maybe varnish some of the ones I've done and do some wire wrapping so I can send parcels off this weekend :)

Maybe you need to something or other with the other colours to make them mix less with the black or make them brighter. I thought the patterns in the black still looked pretty interesting, only problem I could pick with them is the contrast. 

No lunar eclipse for me unfortunately it was way too early in the morning and even if I had been awake I probably wouldn’t have gotten up because it was too damn cold when I did get up it would have been worse earlier 🤣 was it cool?

Maybe. It dried pretty well so it's not totally shit 😆

I was up, pregnancy aches and pains helped with that, I didn't see anything though = bummer. And yeh it was damn cold, but I turned the heater on, made a big breakfast, had a cuppa and was sweet for a while. Ended up going back to bed and slept in til noon 😆

And yeh it was damn cold but
