Antique Style Photography - Come, 'Sit With Me'...

I am really drawn to Antique style photography at the minute but I also have a love of vibrant colours.

The original photograph has many striking colours, but I wanted to tell a story with the bench, so I decided the antique filters would add a narrative that enhancing the colours, wouldn't.  I left the bench with the original hue to add a modern twist to the antique filter.  

I am really pleased with the outcome.  Will you come and 'sit with me' a while?...

I am saving for a new (better) camera with a micro lens to improve my imagery.

Thank you so much :) I am playing around with different styles to see which one I like best.  I like the idea that a picture can tell a story without words, so that is what I am trying to focus on right now, and the antique filters seem to be more nostalgic than the rest
