If I have a visitor and I have 24 hours to take him/her around to best places in my locale, then the ball is enormously in my court. I need to be time concious in order to fulfill my goal within 24 hours, therefore, every place we go would be timed, so all the places I'm gonna list will be visited maintaining the schedule for the day.
But first, I need to proof few things.
1. Let the person know that Lagos is not a place for the dullard(I think it's important incase he/she is alone in the city)
2. Show him/her the beautiful parts of Lagos.
### What many people say about Lagos.
I've noticed some things about what people outside lagos say about the unique and amazing state. Myself as a case study; Whenever I'm out of Lag, and I have to talk about my location, many people give a nasty comment about Lagos. Well, It's always expected because only few people trust Lagosians. The same goes with Warri in Delta state, but the thing is anywhere people do anything to survive and really survive no matter how good or bad, it's mosyly tagged as the devils home. But Lagos is a center of Excellence.
**"The first place I will take my guest to is Oshodi***
Oshodi is a place to visit in Lagos. Yes! It's far more than a tourist center, because when you stay afar to watch the deals and deeds of area boys, you are either amazed or amuzed. My experience at Oshodi the very first time was remarkable. I wouldn't leave that out of the box to teach my guest some nasty things those street guys are capable of eventhough I won't allow the practical to be at his expense.
### Let's visit the palm Arena
Any lagosian should know this place. The palm arena is situated opposite palm shopping mall. Have you ever seen the formular 24? The car race is superb in the arena. People make merry and have complete fun. They also have bars and other special hangout places. I'm sure my visitor would want to go there over and over again if I make the presentation.
### The National Theatre will not not be left out
Constructed in 1976, it is the cultural center for performing arts in Nigeria. The well-equipped hall has the capacity to hold 3000 people. It hosted the Festival of Arts and Culture (FESTAC) in 1977. The building has a bar, a restaurant, and 2 grand cinema halls. The great cultural performances coupled with the theatre’s architectural grandeur have pulled the attention of people from various walks of life.

This well equiped hall can contain 3000 people. It us an ancient building with modern structure that has bar and restaurant and cinema halls. I wasn't born as at that time, but it was said to have hosted to festival of Art and culture (FESTAC) in 1976. There are thing happening in there now that is in Vogue, so, there will be fun, and my guest will feel the excitement of the late 70s coupleld with the current vogue happenings in the arena.
### My guest will enjoy the bogobiri

If my guest visit on thursday or friday, the bogobiri would be a nice place to visit. This is a place where food and art meets like a confluence, with different assorted pepper soup on display. No one will ever visit bogobiri at night, especially on thursdsys and fridays, and won't like to have another sweet experience of the beautiful, and enjoyable moments. I won't dare forget bogobiri for any reason.
### The Lekki leisure lake
Some people are hydrophobic. I will not bother to take a guest that has the fear of water/river or sea to Lekki leisure lake. If otherwise, then visiting this place is a must. This place accommodate surfers. Various activities is always on display on the lake. Watching them alone is fun. There are moulded benches to relax and varieties of food are available to perch on when the stomach is calling for refill. This cool and siren environment is a nice place to visit. There are opportunities to ride horses too. The combos are superb , and I think my guest will love the deal
### We can also visit the funtopia

I think this place will not be a war zone for a hydrophobic visitor. I will take my guest to this place, and we are going there for three things. We are gonna have fun, have fun, and have fun. That's all. The swimming pool is not deep. The barbecue joint is not far, and the pepper soup corner is very near. No long call before order is filled at affordable prices for the opulents.😀. It would be a taboo if funtopia is allowed to swim away like a tilapia without my guest having a taste.
### Kalakuta republic is for the legend. My guest must know Fela Anikulalo Kuti's shrine

Fela was a giant in his days. He died in 1997, but his name will never leave the lips of Nigerians for the impact he made in fighting for justice through his music. The Kalakuta republic was his performing center. Many people visit this place to catch fun and relax. His Son Femi Kuti took over when he died. It's a home of music. The name Kalakuta republic is unique on it's own, and many people see it as an abode of the legend. Visiting this place with my guest will be memorable.
### Conclusion
Within 24 hours, the places listed above would be visited. Most of those unique areas are in Lekki, so it won't be time comsuming to navigate around. There are also some at Ikeja, notwithstanding, the time is enough to feel the groove. Am I really gonna have an August visitor? Waiting
