TURN OLD MEMORIES INTO NEW MEMORIES

### Bird Condos

When my boys were younger we had lots of great days playing basketball, but after they grew up I was left with an unused goal in the back yard. It stood as a monument to old memories for quite a few years, but then I had an idea. 

I got out my saw and cut off the backboard leaving only the metal pole that was impossibly buried in concrete. I had some old barn wood and encased the pole. I used more of the barn wood to build bird houses that I then attached to the pillar. I had recently been doing some tree pruning so I used some of the branches to fashion a tree on the top of the pole. I added bits of this and that to the houses; my favorite thing being a fan that turns in the wind. 

Once I was finished it didn't take long for renters to move in.
