Once upone a time, I visited Kaduna for my masters interview. It was fun, I got to meet some exciting people and just as expected, I got admitted into the program. Three weeks into it and its as tedious as I expected it to be but I'm relishing the challenge, having to learn flight dynamics and other airplane stuff is reward for my hard work. However, there's never a story without a plot twist or at least a kick. 

Just as most of my stories go, there's often some feminine influence and this case won't be different. While leaving the city, I ran into a chick during my commute to the bus park that would take me halfway back home. Well, technical speaking, I didn't go all out to meet the chick, some loud mouthed dude that was somewhat racist constantly tried to make conversations with me, I was stuck in between Respectful and indulgence, more of the previous but whatever. There was a chick sat between myself and this dude during the commute, he spent the whole trio flirting with the chick then right before getting off, the dude said she should take my number, which she actually did and duly called me that day. 
Days turned to weeks and it finally got us to my return date to start the program, we kept contact but not enough to say we were romantically involved. Naturally, I said some nasty shit but I assumed those things don't mean shit. Plus, its 2018, everyone deletes chat history. 
Fast forward to yesterday evening and I'm laying in bed when a phone call came through and a dude's voice says "Your friend is stranded at the gate, her name is Amara".  Startled and somewhat shocked, I called on my friend who's a military man to accompany me and we got to the gate. I'd sum up the drama I encountered at first sight as a perfect blend of Telemundo, telenovela, gay ass Philippines movie and something French. The dude saw me and said " I've come to drop your girlfriend, you can have her" took a breath cause he was vibrating and continued "you just come from no where to destroy a 3 year old relationship?" At this point, I wanted to wake up from the nightmare and burst into laughter at the same time. Here's the thing, I didn't even know she had a man, she definitely didn't mention it at any point. 

So I'm out in the cold around 9:30pm and listening to this love drunk dude whine about how I'm trying to destroy their relationship despite meeting the chick once? I mean, I can't deny I had naughty intentions and made slight advances at her but it was nothing new or serious for that matter. Me and the chick talk like twice a month or something. Now I had to stand there with my fake serious face, holding back my laugh while this old dude cried about a trifling hoe. In hind sight, I feel kinda sad for him but it was funny as hell on the spot. 
The night ended and I subtly assured him that I hadn't fucked his girl **yet** but stated clearly that I didn't know he existed then subtly asked him to fuck right off and walked off. So ended my evening yesterday and I gotta say, fuck my life.
