Overcoming the fear of presenting to a large audience

Keeping an eye on all of the information during presentations is crucial to ensure that nothing goes undetected.
The contents must be delivered in a clear and understandable manner, using language appropriate for the type of audience present. Avoid using illogical or difficult-to-understand language or terms.

The audience should not be a source of distraction. Keeping your gaze fixed on a particular location in the arena can help you stay focused and avoid becoming distracted by the reactions of the audience.
Keep in mind that not everyone in your audience will be an expert on the subject. So don't be scared to make a mistake, and if you do, don't be embarrassed to fix it.

The speeches should be viewed as opportunities for growth and learning. Always be receptive to feedback and criticism, both favorable and negative.
There are also public speaking classes and seminars for those who wish to better their speeches and presentations, you might just attend and build up your ability. You might as well organize a small group within your environment or workplace and carry out box talk every morning on general work issues, while you build up your confidence to face a multitude
These programs will help you develop communication skills and overcome your phobia of public speaking.

The best way to combat fear when dealing with an audience is definitely to be completely clear about what you are going to talk about and master the subject, that makes us aware that we can deal with any problem that comes up and the other thing is the breathing techniques that are on the net everywhere, calm breathing will send the message that everything is ok to our brain and everything will flow naturally.

hello nice post @bdnie111, you made me remember an anecdote that I will share with you I still remember my thesis defense that was in front of about 20 people, I was a little nervous and a professor who saw me go through the whole race said to me "Who did the thesis? I answered ME and who did the software development, I answered ME and whose idea was it? the professor answered me "then go and give them a class because nobody in this world knows your work better than you" those words were more than motivating for me, they were my way to understand how to face stage fright.

The truth is that I was one of those who as a teenager was terrified at the mere thought of public speaking, until as time went on I made it normal. Self-confidence, mastery of the subject, are things that I think are determinant in this aspect, so working on oneself will allow you to face almost any situation with peace of mind, even public speaking.

Fear is something that must be overcome in many ways, one of them is when we are in front of a large audience, I think the nervousness attacks for the first few minutes, but once the words flow we can overcome the fear before a big stage.

Particularly when I was young in my classes I defended myself very well in the presentations, and when I presented my thesis several professors told me that I could teach, and I stayed working at the university as a teacher. I think that the important thing is to feel confident about the topic to be discussed and use the right tone of voice and words so that the information reaches the public, there will always be fear at the beginning but then we control it. a few years ago I had to give a lecture to a group of people who were somewhat hostile, that is where I understood that speaking to people is one of the most frightening experiences, I remember speaking so much that my throat hurt, after that experience the best advice I can give is that only practice makes perfect, this means that just speaking for several times will give you the courage and fluency that we see in great speakers.

Giving a speech in front of large audience is not a cup of everyone tea , even I was afraid about it in the first two three times then I get the confidence that I can do more better then this. We just need to give little time and practice so that we can over come out fear.
