Today I am going to show you how to make plate from scratch. You only need some clay and some basic tools. Of course, I am not the one who is making it but my fiancée who just started practicing pottery
> Hoy os voy a mostrar como hacer un plato hecho de arcilla. Solo necesitas arcilla y algunas herramientas basicas. Por supuesto yo no soy el que hace el plato sino mi novia que acaba de empezar a practicar ceramica.

* Cut the proper amount of clay
>Coge una buena cuantidad de arcilla
* Knead it until it is smooth and consistent
>Amasar la arcilla hasta que tenga una buena textura
* Roll it with a roller and use the guides to create the proper and uniform thickness (0.5-1 cm)
>Amasar con el rodillo usando una guía acadalado para crear un grosor uniforme
* Smoothen and press the surface with the soft plastic kidney-shaped tool (or something similar)
>Presionar la superficie de la arcilla con un utensilio de plástico blando para presionar y alisar la plancha de arcilla
* Apply the pattern and press with the roller (you can use different pattern as well), it has to be pressed well into the clay
>Poner la plantilla encima de la arcilla y presionar con el rodillo
* Put the clay on a plastic bag so you can place it on the mold esily and it won't get stuck
>Coloca la plancha de arcilla encima de un plástico para transportarlo fácilmente y que no se adhiera al molde
* Place the clay into the mold
>Coloca la plancha de arcilla encima del molde y presiona con cuidado hasta que tome forma
* Cut off the excess from the sides with a small knife
>Corta el sobrante de arcilla del borde con un cuchillo
This is the first part of the making. After leaving the plate to dry leather hard, we can bisque fire. As we still don`t have the electricity for the oven, this has to wait for a little while.
