This article is going to be relatively quick considering we are hours away from Week 7 main slate. If you haven't already, be sure to check out my QB and RB articles which were posted yesterday. There is a ton of value at RB this week, leaving us plenty of room to get some stuff done receivers.
Just an FYI for this weekends set of articles. I will be traveling most of the week and caught up in a wedding. For that reason, these articles will still have my favorite plays listed but the analysis will be brief and limited. In fact, some of these articles may come out via the Partiko App, in which case they may look slightly different. Trust that I have still put in the work to choose my plays but just don't have the time to sit down and write a 4 separate, 1-2 hour articles as the week winds down. With that being said, here are my top plays at the wide receiver position for Week 7. Enjoy, upvote, and comment on your weekly outlook.
WIDE RECEIVER
Adam Thielen - Minnesota Vikings
$6,800 / at NYJ / MIN - 3.5
Dude is on fire, posting more than 100 yards receiving each week this season. Jets inside coverage is a great matchup for him this week. Obviously Thielen and Cousins are locked in and I suspect nothing less than another 100 yard game.
Robert Woods - LA Rams
$7,000 / at SF / LA - 8.5
Very consistent usage this year for Woods, having posted 3-100 yard games with no other game going less than 81 yards. With Cooper Kupp out, Woods usage should increase. Only downside is that the Rams are heavy favorites but in previous games, Woods and the Rams receivers stay involved.
Jarvis Landry - Cleveland Browns
$7,300 / at TB / CLE + 3.5
Waiting for a breakout game. Killed us last week but still continued to get a heavy target share. At some point he has got to connect with Mayfield on passes and with his massive target share, that should lead to a big game. Tampa Bay's secondary is terrible and they just fired their DC, so the matchup is ideal.
Mike Evans - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
$7,700 / vs CLE / TB - 3.5
Another disappointing play last week but someone I am not afraid to go back to the well on. A huge, elite weapon in Tampa, last week's performance should be an outlier. Targets, usage, red zone looks, yards, Mike Evans gives us all that. Cleveland's secondary is also banged up which should present more opportunities.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Michael Crabtree - $5,100 - Ravens
Willie Snead - $4,000 - Ravens
Devin Funchess - $5,300 - Panthers
Stefon Diggs - $7,200 - Vikings
Marquise Goodwin - $4,600 - 49ers
