Before 1974 Sikkim was a separate country. But when former prime minister of India Indira Gandhi conducted one election to choose India or china , the citizens of Sikkim was in favour of India by 97% and that's why it is a state of India now. It is such a state where citizens of Nepal are more than Sikkim. It is world famous for its natural beauty. Gangtok which is the capital of Sikkim is popular throughout the world. It is the cleanest city in India. The main problem of Sikkim is transportation. The changu lake of Sikkim freezes during winter. One of the hanging bridge of Sikkim is second longest bridge in Asia. Noodles is a common and favourite food of Sikkim.
