Want to accelerate your old iPhone : An useful Tip !
>
Battery replacement can significantly accelerate the old iPhone, it has been studied.
According to the current frequency of the smartphone processor, you can understand whether it's time to change the battery in the iPhone.

Many social media users report a strange pattern, the old iPhone models after the replacement of the battery start to work much faster. Acceleration confirms even a simple test in the benchmark Geekbench, which analyzes the overall performance of the processor.

For example, the iPhone 6S with a battery wear of about 20% scored 1466 points in a single-core test and 2512 in a multi-core. After the battery was replaced, these figures rose to 2526 and 4456 points, respectively. What is noteworthy, even the owners of the flagship iPhone 7 report this problem, in the chip of which there are much more energy efficient cores.

It is assumed that by slowing down the processor, Apple is trying to increase the life of older devices. But slowing down causes further degradation of the battery. This is something people hardly notice if something is wrong with battery. Nevertheless users want, that the manufacturer recognize the fact of presence of such malfunction.

Anyone who owns the iPhone can very well estimate how much the processor's frequency is underestimated. In the App Store, there is a free CPU DasherX application for check this.

The value that it will show, you need to compare with the claimed initially. The iPhone 6 has 1.4 GHz, the iPhone 6S has 1.84 GHz, the iPhone 7 has 2.34 GHz.

Let us determine if our device is being slowed down due to a degraded battery. Download CPU DasherX (free) from the App Store and verify the CPU Frequency it shows with what's expected from your device.
