# Progress on Legal Opinion Letter Native Core Token BTS #

The BitShares Blockchain Foundation will receive the draft of the legal opinion letter from PaulHasting by the end of the week. There will still be some work to be done on the last details to finish the final version. Afterwards, it will be send to the legal counsel of Bittrex. Once feedback has been provided, we will publish our version on www.BitShares.legal. Other exchanges have requested a similar legal opinion letter and we will of course send this very same version upon requirement once finished. As it will be publicly available www.BitShares.legal, any interested party can obtain this information for themselves as well.

Thanks BBF for keeping us informed. I agree, BitShares shareholders should have an opportunity to review this before any entanglements are formalized with a legal agreement or before it is sent to any exchange. 

Hopefully this work product from the attorney will not place any obligations on BitShares the community is unwilling to meet, but until we can see the results we can't know if that will be true.
