For about $100 a night you can stay in this beautiful room located across the river from Bangkok in what was once the former capital, Thonburi.

<p>Nestled among the narrow pathways and fronting the Bangkok Noi Canal, is a property that was gifted to the previous owner by a Thai King for a lifetime of Service. The origonal house is almost 100 years old, and has been added to with a further 2 structures, and now serves as a boutique guesthouse. If you are after something different to your regular hotel stay then this could be for you</p>

<p>There are only 8 rooms at the resort, and each one is different. We were lucky enough stay in the beautiful Flowery Room which is part of the original 100 year old house.</p>

<p>The hotel is run by a lovely family who own the house and they really make you feel welcome. We even sat around playing guitar and playing Bingo with them one evening. In the daytime we got a chance to explore some of the <a href="https://steemit.com/til/@bkkshadow/thousands-of-fish-in-feeding-frenzy">local sights</a> and try some <a href="https://steemit.com/health/@bkkshadow/barbecue-scallops-with-chili-and-lime">food</a>, and in the evening we went to see the <a href="https://steemit.com/travel/@bkkshadow/the-various-chao-phraya-cruise-boats-at-night">River Boats</a>.</p>
<p>Accommodation here runs at about US$100 per night and this includes a delicious breakfast. I can highly recommend a short stay at this delightful hotel.</p>
