Go away for a couple of months and come back and we have a new supreme leader and everyone is losing their shit.  All hail Justin. The king of Tron. Well if you think about it , the previous owner didn't do much after the brains behind the operation Larimer left. Played a few chords on the guitar not believing his luck that he ended up on the Dan Larimer train for a couple of years. Dan is now over at EOS planning Voice in beta which looks quite decent and will probably seal Steemits fate.

And yet we are going mad that Ned sold out even though everyone knew he was not capable of bringing Steemit forward. Meanwhile Justin Sun is paying 4.5 million to have a dinner with Warren Buffett trying to move crypto into the main stream. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I know who I would prefer at the helm and it's not the strummer with a dodgy ronnie with  his bestie head of communications that doesn't do much communicating. 
But to be fair to Ned. Steemit is one of the saltiest commmunities full of whackjobs that would not get their voice heard on any other platform. Unfortunately crypto attracts the mentalists thinking crypto will get them out of their trailer park.  You can't do right for doing wrong. And even if Ned divided his stake up with everyone in the community, people would still be giving out. Once Ned turns off his laptop and throws it in the bin , he can go down to his local bank machine to check his bank balance. A huge smile will form on his face and once again not believing his luck that he was in the right place at the right time. It will not take him long to forget all about Steem and all its saltiness sipping cocktails in barbados. Some guy will ask him. So what do you do? He will reply that he sold his social media wing of his tech company to a billionaire. The problem child of the blockchain. I doubt there will be any regrets. He just hit the jackpot. He just did what everyone else does. Close his laptop and his Steemit life ends and becomes a distant memory. I do think he has clocked out quite a long time ago. So lets give this new guy a chance. Whats the worst that can happen? The price is practically worthless as we speak. Maybe Justin may surprise a few folks. Lets find out. It can't be much worse.
