[세계의 이유 #19] Winter Trip #7 - Fisherman's Bastion 요정나라 어부의 요새

드디어 나왔다, 어부의 요새!!! 부다페스트에서 가장 좋아했던 곳이다.

이 여행 전의 상태는 가히 엉망진창이었다. 아무 의욕이 없어서 뭔가 '어디론가 떠나고 싶은데 가고 싶은데가 아무데도 없는' 상태랄까... 그러다가 플레이윙즈라는 비행기 프로모션 앱에서 우연히 이 사진을 봤다.

헉... 저긴 어디지? 저게 뭐지!? 너무 멋있다!!
[부다페스트에 세개의 미션을 수행하러 왔다고](https://steemit.com/travel/@bleury/18-winter-trip-6-ruin-bar-szimpla-kert)했었는데, 그 중 1번이 바로 저 위 사진과 같은 곳을 찾는 것이었다.

전 날 루인펍에서 새벽까지 노는 바람에 컨디션도 썩 안좋고 날씨는 바람불고, 눈과 비가 왔다갔다 하면서 오고, 길은 진창이고, 안개끼고 난리도 아니었다.

 그래도 꾸역꾸역 열심히 지하철타고 버스타고 도착!

헐... 도착하자마자 심장이 두근두근... 어디에서도 보기 드문 기묘한 구조와 형태의 장소다. 저 기마상은 헝가리의 건국왕 성 이슈트반이다. 어디서 들어본것 같다고요? 그렇습니다, [성 이슈트반 대성당](https://steemit.com/travel/@bleury/19-szent-istvan-bazilika-and-gozsdu-udba)의 그 성 이슈트반입니다. 이 곳은 말 그대로 도나우 강을 넘어오는 적들을 이 요새에서 막아낸 어부들을 기리기 위해 축조되었다. 일곱개의 뾰족 지붕은 초창기의 일곱 부족을 상징한다고 한다.

일단 도착하자마자 미션 달성을 위해 KLM 항공 광고사진 속 장소를 찾아서 두리번두리번

비록 공사중이지만 바로 여기였다! 미션 달성했다고 친구와 하이파이브 하면서 자축 ㅎㅎ 이제 느긋한 마음으로 요새를 둘러봅니다.

요새가 있는 고지대의 가장자리를 따라 멋진 석조 아치 기둥들이 늘어서있다. 지붕이 있는 회랑이 있는 곳도 있고, 멀리서 볼 때 뾰족탑인 공간도 있다.

회랑도 기가 막힘... 크. 아치 너머로 안개 속의 국회의사당이 보인다.

이 날 안개가 도처에 깔려있던지라 빛이 산란되어 더욱 신비로운 느낌이다. 어부의 요새를 너무 좋아했어서, 맑은 날에도 한 번 더 방문했었는데, 그 때 느낌은 이때랑은 또 다르다. 이 날은 날씨가 정말 극악이어서, 사람이 거의 없었는데, 맑은 날 갔더니 관광객이 흘러넘치더라는...

제일 좋아하는 풍경입니다. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 요정나라 같다. 너무 예쁘다. 말도 안되게 예쁘다. 겨울의 부다페스트가 아름답게 기억에 남아있는 이유 중 하나는 저 프랙탈같은 앙상한 나무 때문이다. (당연하지만) 우리나라의 겨울 나무와 좀 다르게 생겼는데, 그 모양이 저 도시의 분위기와 아주 잘 어울리는 것이다.

요새의 안쪽 끝(내 뒤에 보이는 가장 높은 원뿔지붕)에는 그리 높지 않은 탑이 있고, 탑 안에는 놀라운 가격의 카페가 있다. 왜 놀랍냐면... 너무 싸다. -_-;; 데운 와인 큰 컵 가득 한 잔에 2~3천원! ㄷㄷ 관광지인데도 이렇게 저렴하다니요... 이 작은 바에서 뜨거운 와인을 마시며 뒤를 보면,

마차시 성당과 안개에 어지러이 흩어지는 조명이 근사하다. 날씨도 이상할 정도로 이상하고 풍경도 비현실적인데다 뜨거운 와인까지 마시니 정말 현실세계가 아닌듯한 기분이 들었다.

와인을 마시고 다시 내려와서 아까 지났던 그 길을 따라서 돌아갔다.

사진으로는 잠시 머문 것 같지만, 미친 날씨에도 불구하고 한시간 반 정도를 여기저기 둘러봤었다. 너무 마음에 드는 장소라서... 그러고도 아쉬워서 떠나기 전날 마지막 밤에도 방문했었으니, 여기는 정말 꼭 가보시라고 추천하고 싶다. 부지 내에 3D 영화 상영관도 있고(읭?), 도나우 강 너머의 국회의사당 풍경을 즐길 수 있는 식당도 있다. 바로 옆에는 마차시 성당이 붙어있고, 10분만 걸어가면 이 나라 조명 기술자들 역량을 다 쏟아부은 듯한 부다 궁전도 있다. 화려한 야경 끝판왕인 장소라 하겠습니다!
