Beautiful Bindi

Bindi is my old girl. She’s 14, stubborn but sweet, and marches to the beat of her own drum. The kids laugh when I tell her that she was by far the fastest runner, the highest jumper, and the most naughty puppy out of the pack. Nowadays, her days are mostly spent laying down in my bedroom at the foot of the bed. Waiting to to eat so she can slowly putter and pace around for an hour or two before catching some more zzzzzz’s. 

She’s earned the R&R. As far as we know, outside of some stiffness and arthritis which we do treat, she’s a healthy girl. I know that health is something that can change literally overnight as it did with my boys Kitano and Bandit...so I’m not taking anything for granted. For now, Bindi is my happy and easy angel. She loves her sister Maya and the family as much as her eating and resting time. 

One thing I do love is the days she has some pep in her step. When she’s feeling extra good and runs (slowly) around the yard or through the house. It’s the cutest thing as it is a rarity nowadays so when it happens, I cherish those moments. 

I think I’m going to do a proper write up on each of the pups. They deserve to have the limited world of Steemit to see just how truly special they are. Stay tuned!!!

She is too beautiful! It is sad to watch our furry, four legged friends grow old, but at the same time, yes - good to see them enjoying the special little moments in their lives. We recently had to say goodbye to our 18 yer old cat Kaya. It was such a hard thing to do, but seeing photos and videos of him in his "happy places" - like rolling around in the sunshine etc. still warms my heart.

I know that feeling too well. It’s at the point now that Bindi’s age is ALWAYS on my mind. My brain can’t turn it off. Sucks. 

So sorry to hear about beautiful Kaya. It’s by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through so I understand. 

I love watching older videos of the pack...romping and playing. Happy. Healthy. Perfect.

I absolutely love all your doggos, man. They're just gorgeous, and it's so obvious how much you care about them and treat them as part of the family, not just as "pets". Big thumbs-up for beautiful Bindi, who deserves extra headpats and scratches today, yes she does, yes she *does*! :D
