Everything made for dummies.
The internet is truly a marvelous invention with so much to offer. Anything and everything you imagine can be found on there. Obviously, the plethora of content it holds today is because of the tenacity humans have had to put it there. If it weren't for the desire to have all of this information, and every sort of it, be made available on the internet then none of this would be accessible. Not even close to the extent that is today.

It still hasn't become the bane of idiocracy. The notion that lack of available knowledge is what held humanity back has been debunked since knowledge is very readily available thanks to the internet. But there is a plus side to this. The knowledge may be present, but soaking the information could be the trouble. Hence, the seemingly popular "for dummies" edition of almost everything is available on the internet, too.

If you are from a time when books were more popular than the internet, clearly because the internet wasn't as robust as it is now, then you may have come across "for dummies" books. And if you have encountered these books more than once then it may either be because you are a curious little dummy trying to learn about anything and everything or you simply love the satirical aftertaste it carried.

The books were never obviously catering to the stupid portion of the population. It is not like a single-digit IQ level person would be the main target audience for the books. But dummying anything, and especially something important and complex, down to cater to a single-digit IQ person along with a fine line of sarcasm and disappointment is pretty entertaining, if and when done right.

I have since fallen in love with the video series a lot of people make. Something something for dummies. You can look them up. There are many things made into a video series with "for dummies" label and most of them are ingeniously satirical. Some of my personal favorites are the ones that have a fair amount of "self burn". I think it takes a somewhat genius to really water down something complex, break it down, explain it, and still add a pinch of comedy to mix. I wonder when will the "for dummies" video of creating a series like that come out. I'll be first in line.
