The problems of cryptocurrency trading environment which Bitor Group found are as follows:
I. Cryptocurrency exchange
1. No central cryptocurrency exchange, 24 hours 365 days, unstable market with no upper/lower limit
The cryptocurrency exchange does not have a central exchange controlled by the state, and it works for 365 days/ 24 hours. As there is no upper/lower limit, investors have to keep an eye on the cryptocurrency price change in this market with great changes.
2. Market with people selecting multiple cryptocurrency exchanges per person
According to investor statistics, since there are many exchanges in each country, investors tend to use more than 3 exchanges regardless of the country. Most investors choose multiple exchanges because the price of a cryptocurrency is different in each exchange and not all exchanges have the same cryptocurrency, they want to invest in. In other words, investors have to incur the inconvenience of looking at multiple exchanges when trading.
II. News/ Price analysis
1. Limitations on the provision of investment information / limitations of information acquisition and analysis
As the official news for each cryptocurrency is uploaded first on the official website and on the SNS (such as twitter), there is a time difference for investors to receive the news. In addition, although information on news and analysis of market condition are uploaded in various startup cryptocurrency web services, there is still a tendency to be unsatisfied or partialized to satisfy investors.
2. Chart analysis
As cryptocurrency affect charts and prices by volume, investors spend a lot of time analyzing charts. Bitor Group now believes that cryptocurrency investments need access to a variety of information and systematic chart analysis.
3. Cryptocurrency analysis
Before investing, one should first analyze the technology, development team, market price, and basic information of particular coin. Currently, this information is distributed throughout the SNS of cryptocurrency exchanges, SNS such as twitter, the official website of the coin, and personal blogs, making it difficult for individuals to collect, analyze and invest information. In addition, white paper, the most important thing to review ahead of cryptocurrency investment, is written in IT computer engineering approach and programming language. Thus it is difficult for the general public to understand and review it.
In order to solve the problems of the cryptocurrency trading environment described above, Bitor Group implements VectorX, a blockchain-based trading platform. VectorX includes the following services:

1. Saving information
All transaction records are stored in a blockchain network
(content information, order information from multi-trading and bots trading, exchange information from exchange wallets, simulation information from algorithms, etc).
Fees for registering information in the blockchain are used to maintain infrastructure and rewards for contribution to the platform. The circulation structure is covered more in detail in no.3 below.
2. Authentication and Exchange Trust
Order requests which adhere to the Exchange API specification include signature using user’s private key.
The exchange confirms the signature, identifies the user, and processes the order and this means that the exchange verifies as the order was requested by the account registered in the exchange.
The process of registerating the contract information confirmed by the exchange in the blockchain is confirmed transparently through the source code, so the user can trust the service of VectorX.
3. Smart Contract
Coins and functions associated with each service are implemented as smart contracts. Coin’s smart contract basically includes a transfer function and provides registration and billing for service products.
▶It is a circulation structure in which a producer adds content to the network, the user uses the coin as a fee for the corresponding product, and the content producer receives coins by contract.
4. Algorithm
The algorithm of the blockchain network is implemented based on the Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance(PBFT) algorithm. It manages the number of nodes flexibly to avoid network overloads and ensure fast network speed on the exchange’s level.
