Just an fyi, if you got a vote from me, it wasn't via a bot, always a manual pick. I've never used a bot to do my voting (and I think one of my votes is among the strongest here).

Your vote is the strongest based on my observations and thank you for reading all my posts you voted on. **Really**.

I have pointed out to my friends when they brag about getting X whale to vote on them and I often reply **"that's great but @blocktrades has the real power"**

I know things here are complicated from behind the scenes I just feel that somethings aren't right... yet. Not sure what is right but i feel it's not working for me or most people in the same or similar position as me.

I admit i assumed a vote from you was a bot vote. I can't tell your voting patterns, you are too all over the place, which makes you unpredictable; when so many people say chase the whale vote. I never chased the whale vote i wrote what was on my mind.

People say ***"write what whales vote for"*** but this is a ridiculous suggestion as whales have opinions and moods as well. OMG you might be a real human!!

I will miss it here. It's an addiction. I will wake up and turn on my computer and this is the first thing i go to daily, well until this past week.

Thank you @blocktrades I hope in the near future Steemit finds a fair balance to satisfy all. But that might go against the nature of the platform. Rough road you have ahead and it will get rougher before the path is smoothed out. Smoothing the path might damage it as well.

You can not make a trail in the forest without knocking down or cutting some trees in the way.

I just hate stressing over a few dollars profit in rewards. I literally lose sleep over it. A few bucks in Steemit Coins. Can you believe that? Stressing over the cost of cup of coffee is not for me and Steemit made me do that.

Seriously. I would lose sleep thinking about $5SBD weekly average and that's just ridiculous. The past 5 days have been extra brutal. I can't remember what I did with the same time before i met Steemit. And that hurts more.

I will miss you and my time here but like any addiction it can be beaten, with time and effort.

Thank you for all the past support. I have noticed every time you voted for my post, really, though I did not say. More people should say "thank you" when they get a whale vote. I hope in the future they can. I hope this post encourages that.

You are a worthy leader and I hope Steemit becomes the dream you imagined it to be.

My best advice is not to worry about writing for votes or money. This place is just a place to share information and to allow cooperation on projects. The money aspect is useful, because it gives a way for people to show appreciation or to cooperate on a common task, but for most posts, it's the information sharing that is most important.

Just as a side note, my voting may seem sometimes strange because both my wife and I vote, and like everyone we have some different interests (although we share many common hobbies too).

I agree it's important to keep balance in your life, don't spend all your time in one place. But you can come here sometimes to see what people are thinking and to share your thoughts.

As you know, I've shared some of your posts on my Ramble, so I don't really need to tell you that you are a good contributor to Steemit.

I figured out some time ago that if I expect to see a financial return from posting on Steemit, then it needs to be in the long-term, not the short-term. Until then, I'm practising my writing craft, learning some great stuff and making small amounts while contributing my time and possible talent to building this great concept.

Once I got that firmly in my head, I don't get torqued over only earning a small amount on a post. It's nice to see a good payout, but stressing over not getting one, is not healthy or realistic.
