Maybe you are wondering why is it steemit dont have deslike button but have only the upvote button?  Maybe you are looking for it after reading some post that are nonsense, rude and disappointing one.  But sad to say, steemit dont have dislike button. Like other socialing site, most of them dont have dislike button. Now the question is?Whey there is no dislike button?

**Where is the Dislike Button?**
Most of socializing site creates a positive community, friendship, relationship to anyone else, putting dislikes button might not be a good idea. Same in steemit, we create a community without any conflict to each in everyone. We appreciate other post, we value the opinion of everyone and we value the community in which we are free to share our story, personal point of view, different information and etc. Steemit is a collection of different ideas and useful information.

**Disadvantage of having dislike button**
Its good to have a dislike button so we can tell other people how we feel towards their post or article, but it does not create good result. Here are some disadvantages of having dislike button.

* *It creates conflict and bad enotion, there are people who will abused it by giving you dislikes without any reason. As writer and author we love to see people like our post and the appreciate it. In return we give the same reaction to others as well.*

* *No chance for newbie to express their thoughts while they are on the process of learning, if their post are no so impressive preople simply dislikes it.*

* *There will be a group of dislikers who will prevent each one another to step up. You know what is it all about.*

A lot of disadvantages once steemit have dislikes button. It could be a reason why steemit community chose not to have one. For those who are looking for dislikes, not upvoting is one way of not liking it. But better drop honest comment to let the writer know what he or she needs to improved.
