동대문상인연합회, 서울봉제산업협회, 서경대학교 산학협력단의 공동 발제로 발족한 ‘동대문솔루션포럼’이 1월 30일 동대문패션클러스터 이해관계자들이 참석한 가운데 서울 종로구 창신동 SW컨벤션센터에서 개최됐다. 동 포럼은 발족 후 동대문솔루션포럼 발제, 스마트 동대문의 현 실태분석, 동대문패션마케팅 고도화 그리고 봉제인력 고령화 대응방안 등 4차례의 주제발표 컨퍼런스와 10회 이상의 소그룹 실무기획회의를 가졌다. 이날 포럼에서는 “패션가치사슬상의 전문인력을 양성하고 IT와 패션의 융합을 통한 스마트 동대문, 그리고 패션마케팅 고도화로 동대문패션클러스터를 글로벌문화중심지로 정착시키자”라는 명제들이 논의되었다. 동 포럼은 1/4분기 내로 지금껏 제시되었던 내용에 대해 세부 실행전략을 완성하고 2/4분기에는 지금까지 포럼을 도와준 동대문 구성원들과 함께 필요한 절차와 과정을 거쳐 정책을 제안하고 올해 안에 제안된 정책을 기초로 파일롯 프로젝트를 시작한다는 계획을 밝혔다.
