섬산련, 특성화고 학생 대상 섬유패션산업 취업지원 활동 전개

한국섬유산업연합회(회장: 이상운, 이하 섬산련)는 섬유패션산업에 관심과 열정이 있는 특성화고 학생들을 위한 채용기업들과의 온라인 만남의 장을 열었다.

섬산련은 산업통상자원부가 지원하는 ‘섬유산업인적자원개발협의체(SC) 활성화사업’의 일환으로 9월 23일 유튜브 라이브 방송을 통해 ‘2020 섬유패션 특성화고 온라인 취업설명회’를 진행했다.

올해로 8회째를 맞은 이번 설명회는 최초로 온라인 방식으로 시도되었으며 전국 각지의 학생 150여명이 참여하였다.

라이브 방송에서는 참여기업들의 직무 소개, 지역별 섬유패션 전문가의 진로 탐색, 특성화고 출신 선배와의 토크쇼와 함께 실시간 채팅방을 통한 라이브 Q&A가 활발히 진행되었다. 라이브 방송은 유튜브 KOFOTI TV 채널에서 재시청이 가능하며, 섬산련은 이 설명회에 이어 채용기업 8개사와 특성화고 학생들을 취업 연계하기 위해 지원서를 접수했다.

한편, 섬산련은 지난 7월부터 전국 특성화고 6개교의 우수학생 14명을 대상으로 7명의 멘토가 맞춤형 취업 컨설팅을 제공하는 ‘섬유패션 특성화고 1:1 취업 멘토링’도 병행하고 있다.

섬산련 관계자는“특성화고 학생들의 섬유패션 산업현장 직무에 대한 이해를 높이고 인력 미스매치를 해소하기 위해 앞으로도 더욱 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
