My Actifit Report Card: September 16 2018

## In January, I decided that my New Year’s resolution would be to lose 10 kg. 
At that time, I weighed 82.3 kg, and unlike all the other New Year’s Resolutions I’ve ever set in my life, I’ve been determined to follow this one through to the end. 

Two weeks ago, I dropped down to 76.6 kg before popping back up to 78.2 kg. This week, I decided that I’m going to fly right through the 76 kg stage and get to 75 kg as quickly as possible. That has led to an increase in running and walking, which I know isn’t the smartest way to work out, especially when doing so to lose weight. 

Nevertheless, today I began with a long, leisurely 5 AM walk, followed by a couple of hours spent chasing my kids around a park in the late morning, and an early afternoon run. To my surprise, this put me well over 10,000 steps today, and dropped my weight down to 76.6 kg in the afternoon. 

Tonight I have a birthday party to go to, so I have a feeling I may be taking two steps backwards instead of two steps forward. But you never know.
