Feeling Blah and a Pleasant Partiko Surprise

I've gotta be honest with you, I am just not feeling it today.  It took a lot for me to get out of bed. I wish I was like Jovi here and I could just sleep wherever/whenever.

I've been hoping to do a post this week about some awesome daily quest rewards I got from Steem Monsters, but those have been pretty non-existent this week.  Lots and lots of common cards with a couple of rare ones here and there.  Maybe one epic if I was lucky.  

Drug Wars has been going about the same.  Rewards are getting less and less.  Luckily I was able to make out with a profit of about 30 STEEM and I haven't invested any since.  I am getting hammered daily by the battles, but I have done a decent job of building up my storage.  I have been able to earn about .5 STEEM a day via the heist.

I am not sure if I mentioned it, but I hit a deer this week on my way into work on Tuesday.  I actually got pretty lucky that I was slowing down for a set of railroad tracks and I don't think I hit it as hard as I might have.  

It took off into the woods(hopefully not to die), and my truck received a broken front grill but no other damage.  Which is a good thing because I really don't have the money to be replacing my truck right now.  

I wish I did, but I just need to be a bit more patient.

I have a feeling this isn't going to be very long of a post.  It is probably just as well since sometimes my posts are a lot longer than I really intend them to be.  Believe it or not I can be a bit chatty when I am talking about something that interests me.

Speaking of things that interest me...  Have you really dug into the Partiko app lately?  Some of you may say "Bozz, what rock have you been living under", but I just noticed the Partiko app lets you earn Partiko points for watching advertisements.  

You just need to click on "points" at the bottom of the homepage and then you can click the button called "free points" that I show circled in the picture above.  It appears you can do this five times every so often through the day and it will give you about 260 points for each ad that you watch.

I figure if all five of the ads are thirty seconds long, that is only about two and half minutes for over 1200 Partiko points.  That seems like a great deal to me and the cool thing is some of the ads are only fifteen seconds long.

I told you, I am not super motivated, so that is all I have for today.  Oh, if you get a chance, **check out some of these folks**.  A couple of them I just started following and I am so glad I stumbled upon them.

@cryptoandcoffee - Offers some great writing and insights from South Africa.  Whether it is crypto advice, information on his business or a harrowing tale about chasing robbers in his old neighborhood, I seriously learn something new from this guy every day.

@pinkspectre - I just started following, but I have been really interested in their posts about wildlife, music, and treasure!

@gooddream - An American living in Thailand explores the city/country, need I say more?  Okay, I will.  They actually cover a wide range of topics, so I am sure you will stumble upon something you enjoy.

Nothing feels worse than hitting an animal on the road.  I remember seeing a deer hit by a car while I was on a run one day.  Sounded horrible, but somehow that deer popped up and ran away.  Like you said hopefully not injured too badly.  Sorry about the front grill damage, ugh!  I hope you feel better, perhaps the weekend will give you time for a little r&r :)

That would be the hope, but I have a feeling it is going to be crazy busy!  Taking my nephews to see the monster trucks this weekend and then on Sunday after church I think I might give grinding my own chicken a go.  Fingers crossed there will be posts next week :)

I've had so many near-misses with deer - they just spring out, and when they see danger, they freeze, which is not helpful to either party. Looks like Jovi is keen to help you out with the driving though! 
I must check out Partiko. I've only used it a couple of times.

I too have been living with near deer misses my entire life.  This is the closest I have ever come to one though :)  It's funny out by my parents the people from the city would come out and pull over to the side of the road to watch the deer.  Never mind the traffic bottle neck they were creating...  Silly city people.

Haha - yes, that's true here too - deer are quite a spectacle for city folks. But there are masses of them in the countryside. Some of the stags are so majestic that I do have to stop and admire them, no matter how often I see them.

I can remember a time when I was younger... running late for work one morning... dropped a cd on the floor; *yep* looked down to get it, then back up to see a 10 something point buck. Mind you...

I lucked out, however... it was like the movies; slow-motion camera. Deer going towards the windshield, then over the minivan. Rush's *"2112"* album at full volume... what a memory!! I pulled over and got out... the deer surprisingly was ok, and the only damage was a missing license plate frame.

Wow!  That is quite the tale!  I remember when I was a kid my dad hit one on the way to work with his Chevy truck.  He said it was basically jelly after the fact.

Yeah, I saw it coming but I knew not to swerve.  When I was a kid we had a guy get paralyzed in our front yard because he swerved to avoid a deer and flipped his truck over.  I think I am good health-wise, just a case of the Winter blahs...

I can understand how some people might not like it. I don't really see it as any different than the message that says sent from iPhone when someone sends you an email from their phone. When I am mobile it is my go-to.
