And that applies to blockchain data as well as 'normal' information.

With this latest data breach, following those of google, twatter, and facebook, one must ask why put any data on the net?
At what point will the average computer / internet user begin to understand that nothing is safe, anything and everything can be hacked, as has been demonstrated to us.

Verification only confirms a users details are accurate, it does nothing to stop malicious attacks.

What is the solution?
Don't post anything?
Recognise that no personal info should not be put on the net?
Should we all aim to become anon on the net?
How are governments going to protect personal info?
