Maroela Magic, an African Blessing!

Marula trees grow wild here in Limpopo South Africa so they can be found scattered all over my farm, growing strong wherever nature decided to plant them, in fact I think that it might just be the only indigenous fruit that South Africa hosts and for as long as I can remember we have had this wonderful marula tree growing in our yard, not only is it a beautiful tree to look at it is also a very rich indigenous tree, thats fruits bare a limitless array of goodness.

Let me share a few things about marula trees that really make them amazing:

* they fall off the tree and then get ripe, making harvesting a breeze
* they contain about four times the Vitamin C of an orange
* They are also very high in Potassium, Calcium & Magnesium
* Other than being incredibly nutritious they are also delectably tasty
* The fruit pulp is an excellent based used in many soft drinks, nectars & iced teas
* The fruit is also used to make a Marula beer, Marula liqueur as well as Marula Mampoer
* Marula trees are commercially used yet **NOT CULTIVATED** meaning they carry on growing wild!

##  Other Products are also made from the Marula by extracting its essential oils, this oil is also know as South Africa's miracle oil because it is:

* High in antioxidants
* High in oleic acid
*  an excellent stable oil
* a brilliant carrier oil for aromatherapy
* This oil is also an edible oil and a great alternative to conventional cooking oils.

#  Nature can be such an awesome provider, it is a pity that we do not look after it better!

The tree in itself could be premise for a good horror fiction, capturing a photo under low light and making it look a little creepy :)
