Weekend Recap
Hi friends,

I had a good weekend and hope each of you did as well!

It was a relaxing weekend for us as we headed out of town to spend some time with family in Arizona.  The weather was really hot - up to 116 degrees Fahrenheit - so we played in the water a lot and also spent time in the air conditioning.  We ended up playing a decent amount of games, which was fun too. 

The kids had a blast swimming around, and I snuck out one morning to try out my new metal detector, which I will share about in another post.

I also went out fishing one morning with my son. He woke up at 5:45 am so we got an early start and didn’t have any bites - we were fishing for striped bass. We did find some clay and spent time building things out of it while we were waiting for something to bite - the coolest of which was a police car.

Overall, it was a great weekend and back to reality now!
