Busted Tool
The other day, a neighbor asked if they could borrow my jig saw as they were dong some work on their bathroom and didn’t have one.

Being one to help a neighbor (and knowing what it is like to get the right tool for the job without having to purchase a new one) I of course said yes!

The jig saw was old, but I have been using it more this last year as I had a circular saw die and the jig saw has been filling in - I was going to wait until I absolutely needed a new circular saw before I purchased it.

Anyway, not exactly sure what happened, but the neighbor brought the jig saw back and said the motor blew... bummer!  I am sure it could have happened to me as well when I was using it so you certainly cannot get mad or ask them to replace it... it was an old tool anyway.  The one suspicious thing was they took off the blade that was on there, and put on a different one but it was backwards, so it is possible they misused the jig saw and it broke...
