Friend, how are you? I like this story a lot and make a short summary for you Baseball hero Jackie Robinson and his brother, the great Olympian Mack Robinson, are commemorated in two monumental heads of bronze portraits located in front of City Hall in his hometown of Pasadena. One objective of the project was to evoke an appreciation of their contributions beyond the sports sphere.

Jackie looks east, past the town hall, where she made a mark breaking the color barrier in professional baseball and became a successful businessman.

Mack looks directly at the doors of the City Hall where he spent his life after the Olympic Games working directly for the city in many capacities.

From a distance, the heads are perceived as traditional similarities. As one approaches, however, it becomes clear that text and low-relief images are embedded in his hair, allowing multiple allusions to his achievements in politics and community service, as well as in sports .

Wow a lot of history behind these 2 statues, monument very deserved and very large.

Wow, I had no idea the story of these brothers, but it makes me understand that skin color, resources can't let you go far, great story.

These brothers are so big and so important that their stories came to the big screen... Monuments very worthy of 2 brothers who are still remembered and honored.

Hello friend, very interesting your publication I had the opportunity to see the movie "42" where honor is given to these African-American brothers who had to battle to achieve the incursion of the so-called blacks to sport, however after so many humiliations, xenophobia , Jackie Robinson  who won many awards for his performance on the field, in winning the rookie of the year and being part of the Hall of Fame is to note that even being one of the best in sports , in his civil life he continued his struggle to achieve as they say, "change the color of the game", every April 15 is the day of: Jackie Robinson, I love that you have written about this story so human the story enjoy it a lot. I have seen this statue before in clear pictures but I did not know the meaning of it and today I thank you for it, that's why I always say every day we learn or we know new things

These statues are new for me I had not seen them before I find interesting the story of each brother two different people each with their different lives and even so each one left a mark in that place

Good to know about Robinson brothers. Really they are honorable persons in the history of USA as people still remember them and built the memorable sculpture.

They both played a important role back then.

**Monuments** and **Sculptures** always hold great stories because we see monuments and sculptures because there is an story of greatness or message behind it.

And particularly in this case these **Sculptures** are made because these people really contributed for their community and they gave great message for the coming generations so that they can make can beautiful world.

But, in my opinion most of the people nowadays just see sculptures and monuments as decorative pieces and they fail to grasp the true message and true contributions which is played by the people.
