HI all, This week, the Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series heads to Phoenix’s IMS Raceway for the Ticket Guardian 500. The first few races of the season have been action packed, and the dominate 3 from last year – Harvick, Kyle Busch, and Martin Truex Jr – have found the completion to be tougher under the new racing package with fewer horsepower, but more downforce. This has allowed racing to be even closer than it has before, and it has been harder for the leaders to pull away. Joey Lagano, last year’s series champion, notched his first win of the season last week, which came right after his teammate’s victory from the week before (Brad Keslowski). This week’s race should be a good one, and the weather looks to be perfect – Partly cloudy with a high in the mid-70s. The race starts on Sunday at 3:30 EST.
