Hello steemians and steemit team, i am very pleased to present my curating report as a country representatives for Nigeria. This is actually my Second month since i was given the role of a country representative, and i would love to disclose to you guys that it has been so lovely working with the team. Working as a country representative is what i enjoy doing, so on this report i will be giving the report for the following:

#### Curation and verification: Achievement 1-6 Newcommers community.

Since i was given the role, i was called up on the steem greeters community to assist as the work there was too huge for other representatives. I was given the task to curate achievement 1-6 from. And so far i have been curating and verifying the nsewcommers coming into steemit and making a well structured comments that serves as a n encouragement and way to go about on steem blockchain. on the table above, i was able to cover 88 newcomers achievement task. verifying, curating and updating their names  on the newcommers google spreadsheet. 

#### Supporting African Authors with Steemcurator04 account | Individual Account Report

As the 3<sup>rd</sup> representative, i was given the steemit community account - steemcurator04 to support publications from the african communities, and currently we are 6 steemians that are using this account from different countries. during this month i used the account for 2weeks and was was able to cover the below authors on different publications.

#### Problems encountered during the month of December

Here, i would like to share with the steemit team about my observations so far. You know, i usually update the google spreadsheet of  the steem greeters community. and its so bad that most users are loosing interesting in writing as many of them are dormant. currently, Nigeria has 199 users on this platform:

This is the current stats of Nigerian users. The number of dormant account is too huge and then i tried to reach out to some of them via whatsapp. I found out that they actually stopped because they find it difficult to adapt to the system of this blockchain. Most of them don't have the capability of bringing up any post while some complain of not recieving steady supports as other users do get.

It was not a challenge though, but i encouraged them to keep writing and engaging in other publications so as to get support from the steemit team. i also ensure them that they will be receiving support from the steemcurator04 account if only they will not stop being active!

#### My Plans For This Month

LIke i said earlier, i will focus on steemians that is not getting crucial support from the steemit team. i will also take path in reaching out to those dormant accounts. In this month, the 3 country reps has agreed on a meetup day including other residential steemians, The purpose is to organize on how to work and promote steemit in our country. so with this effect i will be traveling to the City of Aba Abia State Nigeria where the will hold with @focusnow and @whitestallion including other steemians that may be available.
