But when it wanted the username and password for my steemit account I closed the browser. Maybe it's legitimate but with so many sharks swimming around Steemit I'd rather miss out than expose myself.

It’s just disappointing when people choose to scam then create something honest themselves.  At the end of the day they are just cheating themselves. They either have no one around them, or they are surrounded by scammers themselves who would rather make a fast buck off them then be a true friend.

Its sad, but it seems everyday there are countless spammers and scammers popping up. Thanks for the heads up!

I hate scammers, especially those who have made use of helpful projects of this kind, resteemed and hopefully it can put a halt to these scams.
