I started publishing dpoll posts a few times a week a couple of months ago. My dpolls talk about what the dApp does, give links, and tell my experience if I use them. I ask people to give their response as to whether or not they have used a certain STEEM dApp, and what their experience has been if so. 

I already wrote a post about [how I am doing my dpoll project](https://steemit.com/esteem/@bxlphabet/using-the-dpoll-dapp-on-steem-great-results) when I had published with first three polls if you want to take a look at that information.

I was very happy when I wrote that first post, and I am still very happy with dpoll posts now. I get great comments, interaction, and upvotes, and learn a lot about the dApps if I use them myself or not. 

The way I choose the dApps to feature is by looking at the ranking list at the [State of the Dapps site](https://www.stateofthedapps.com/rankings/platform/steem). 

Over time, there has not been too much movement in the rankings except for the NextColony game which came out of nowhere to shoot up to the top of the STEEM ranks a few weeks ago. Currently I am in about the 10th to 15th rankings, where there has been quite a lot of jostling among the various dApps. 

One of the best results for me is learning more about STEEM and the dapps. So far, most of them I use or at least know about, but a few are completely new to me. 

I usually get 10-15 comments per post, and a few of those will give further information about the dApp, my polling method, STEEM, or something else unexpected. 

I will continue to do these polls a few times a week, until the dApps run out. At the rate they are being created, and how many there are now, I can probably keep going for at least six more months. 

This project has been very helpful to keep me blogging on STEEM. I always can do a dpoll post if nothing else comes to mind. I am really grateful to have the dpoll dApp, their vote on my posts, and to have met so many new steeming friends who vote and comment on my posts.

If you have been thinking of creating dpolls, I highly recommend trying. The posts are not hard to do and you will most likely get great results too.
