This great video game has a story and a unique gameplay mechanics if it could be said, because it has been compared with games like: run'n gun, shoot'em up and Contra, since it has a very similar game mechanics but in this case the protagonist Chelnov will have to advance through different levels full of obstacles and challenges that must be overcome in order to obtain the victory and reach the end of the game. The protagonist Chelnov was a normal human working in a major Russian mine, but in this same silver an explosion occurs granting Chelnov supernatural powers, while the planet suffers an invasion of aliens. Chelnov decides to use his powers to free the planet from the invaders and achieve world peace.

If we talk about the graphics no doubt Atomic Runner meets all the elements to be crowned one of the best games of Sega Mega Drive in the year 89, since at that time did not see graphics as colorful and realistic as Atomic Runner, The main character has an excellent size and with totally fun and addictive animations, the enemies are totally varied and has different movements and abilities for each of them, the settings and scenarios are very well achieved and are totally different for each each level, without a doubt Atomic Runner had some of the best graphics of its time.<br/><br/>

Atomic Runner has totally varied melodies that were really good and very entertaining at the time, since each melody of this great title accompanies excellently at each level of the game and makes everything make sense, although the melodies are repetitive Atomic Runner has some of the best soundtrack of his time. The FX of this title are very well achieved by always maintaining the theme of the game including blows, kicks, digitized screams and voices that are really good and realistic when playing.
