Feliz ano novo! Se o Bitcoin e a blockchain era novidade até pouco tempo, agora muita gente já ouviu falar e teve contato com a tecnologia. Passado o momento em que a principal criptomoeda do mercado era capa de revistas e notícia nos principais jornais e televisão, chegou o momento da consolidação.

Apesar de 2018 ter sido um ano de baixa no mercado de criptomoedas, foi um ano bastante intenso de divulgação e adoção da tecnologia blockchain no mundo todo. Alguns analistas avaliam a baixa como positiva, inclusive, já que o foco agora está mais na utilização.

Com dez anos recém completados, o Bitcoin segue como principal referência, no entanto é o seu sistema que mais interessa às empresas e governos. Acompanhando as notícias neste ano que passou, vi desde clubes de futebol até gigantes do varejo anunciando a utilização da blockchain.

Os navegadores [Brave, que possui criptomoeda própria](https://steemit.com/dlike/@wagnertamanaha/navegador-brave-baseado-em-criptomoedas-atinge-a-marca-de-10-milhes-de-downloads-na-google-play-store), e [Opera, que está testando uma carteira de Ethereum integrada](https://steemit.com/pt/@casagrande/opera-tera-carteira-de-criptomoedas-integrada-ao-navegador), também já exploram o potencial da blockchain. 

A [Via Varejo, grupo que administra Casas Bahia e Ponto Frio, fez parceria com uma startup de pagamentos](https://steemit.com/dlike/@wagnertamanaha/via-varejo-dona-das-casas-bahia-faz-parceria-com-servio-de-pagamento-blockchain-airfox-criptomoedas-air). O aplicativo [Airfox pretende levar serviços bancários à população que não possui conta em banco](https://steemit.com/dlike/@wagnertamanaha/via-varejo-dona-das-casas-bahia-faz-parceria-com-servio-de-pagamento-blockchain-airfox-criptomoedas-air).

Até mesmo os bancos terão que se render à invenção de Satoshi Nakamoto. O [BNDES irá utilizar tokens de contrato ERC20 da Ethereum](https://steemit.com/pt/@casagrande/bndes-usara-blockchain-por-mais-transparencia), [Santander](https://steemit.com/dlike/@wagnertamanaha/santander-e-ripple-lanam-aplicativo-de-blockchain-que-processa-transaes-internacionais--criptoeconomia) e [Bradesco](https://steemit.com/dlike/@wagnertamanaha/bradesco-firma-parceria-com-banco-japons-mufg-para-transferncias-com-blockchain-computerworld) já fazem parcerias com empresas de blockchain para utilizar a tecnologia.

Outra [iniciativa traz financiamento para cooperativas também através de tokens](https://steemit.com/pt/@casagrande/iniciativa-brasileira-ira-financiar-cooperativas-usando-a-tecnologia-blockchain-conheca-a-moeda) e permite que pessoas do mundo todo possam investir nos projetos selecionados.

Uma das aplicações mais utilizadas também é o monitoramento da cadeia de fornecedores, que já inclui diversas empresas como [Natura](https://steemit.com/dlike/@wagnertamanaha/sistemas-monitoram-cadeia-de-fornecedores--natura-e-blockchain-no-jornal-valor-econmico) e [multinacionais como a Unilever e outras](https://www.provenance.org/case-studies).

Empresas conhecidas, mas que perderam boa parte do mercado, tentam ressurgir utilizando a blockchain. [É o caso da Blackberry e Kodak](https://steemit.com/dlike/@wagnertamanaha/blackberry-anuncia-plataforma-blockchain-depois-da-kodak-mais-uma-marca-considerada-extinta-tenta-ressurgir-com-a-tecnologia).

Muitas outras soluções estão surgindo para reduzir a burocracia e providenciar autenticação de documentos de forma muito mais rápida e prática. A startup brasileira [OriginalMy é uma delas](https://originalmy.com).

Pelo menos uma coisa eu garanto: 2019 será melhor que 2018, pelo menos no que diz respeito à trajetória dos preços. Até mesmo porque continuar caindo depois do tanto que já caiu só se for pra o bitcoin zerar.
