Gente bonita come fruta feia

Uma cooperativa portuguesa resolveu combater o desperdício comprando e distribuindo frutas e legumes que seriam descartados por não serem tão atraentes.

Como o público escolhe pela aparência, boa parte da produção acaba se perdendo. Para lidar com esse problema, surgiu a [Fruta Feia](http://www.frutafeia.pt). Atuando desde 2013, já são 8 pontos de entrega (4 em Lisboa, 1 na Parede, 1 no Porto, 1 em Gaia e 1 em Matosinhos), 140 produtores, mais de 3500 consumidores associados e 700 toneladas de alimentos que deixaram de ser desperdiçados.

A versão brasileira do projeto é o [Fruta Imperfeita](https://frutaimperfeita.com.br), que atua em São Paulo. Criada há 2 anos, atende 750 clientes e já evitou o desperdício de 290 toneladas de alimentos.

No bairro em que meus pais moram em São Paulo tem uma entrega de frutas e legumes desse tipo. Não sei se é o Fruta Imperfeita. De qualquer forma, o projeto é ótimo!
