So many parents try to protect their kids from the challenges we all inevitably face in life - but are we not stunting their ability to rise to the challenges by keeping them from practicing in their formative years? How will children be able to face life's challenges as adults that they were never allowed to face as children, with the support and guidance of their guardians? Is it any wonder we have so many dysfunctional young adults, unable to connect with the world around them?
