This post doesn’t have any other reason other than showing that there are not many people that can push the price further down at this point, and for me that is a good reason for holding my Steem and Powering Up.

Let’s take a look at the top 50 Liquid Steem Holders, these are the accounts that could transfer to an exchange right now and sell. Keep in mind that those who permanently hold their funds in exchanges are not taken into consideration.

We can see on the chart that only the top 11 accounts can drastically affect the price at this levels. If we take into consideration that #2, #3, #6 and #9 are exchanges, that leaves us with only a few real threats.

The biggest possible seller is of course the #1 account: @steemit, but even when they have sold in the past we know they won’t and can´t do it all at once, they usually send funds to @steemit2 to sell and their last large sell was 3 weeks ago trough @blocktrades.
 
Now here is the exciting part, from account #12 and below there really isn’t many people who hold a significant amount of liquid steem, With the current price of steem the 31,000 Steem of @afew represents about $7,285 (11.56 BTC). Of course if they all sell at once it would be a problem but we all know this is unrealistic and not all of them are actually selling.
 
## So, what does this mean?

On the one hand we are left to the faith of @steemit and a few of its developers. On the other, there really isn’t much liquid steem left to sell and some people stopped selling all together, in my opinion markets are so thin that it wouldn’t take a lot to take Steem back to 0.50 cents.

## Ok, what about the daily payouts?

Yes, it’s true that most people sell whatever rewards they get for their posts, but this is becoming less and less significant considering the price fo Steem and the percentage of people who are powering up 100%. Another initiative that is taking a lot of liquid Steem and SBD off the exchanges is @steemsports, they are accumulating large part of the daily payouts and distributing it as Steem Power.
