**This photo was only taken today when we were in Kromlau, which is the largest azaleas and rhododendron park in Germany.**
**In this park, this bridge, built of basalt stones, has been standing for centuries.**

*wellll... i don't want to be that guy but:*

the bridge was built at the same time the park was built, more specifically around 1860, while that's quite old, that's not exactly *centuries*.

Sorry, that fact just got me thinking when I read your post and the bridge looked way too modern and fragile to be that old, so i did some googeling and wanted to be a wiseass :P
