If you are new to steemit , You might find this error
Image upload : Error: 413

this error is mainly occurring **due to the image size**.
in steemit we have to upload an image with a **size less than 10MB** if the size of the image is Greater Then 10MB this error will come, and in a post, we can upload  maximum of 10 images.

To remove this error You need to decrease the size of the image.

to change the size of an image. right-click on an image  and open the image with Microsoft Office Picture Manager(or any other tool)

Click On Picture and select Resize

 In a resize panel set the new size, When you set the size around  3000 to 4000  the size will de less than 10MB.

1) Click OK 
2) you can also rotate the image by clicking 
3) Click save form File menu

now You can add this image.
