Who are you?  Where do you come from?  As always, we have a lot of baggage that society imports into our brains.  We have the idea of the self, and living our own life.  Our own life?

Primitive society understood much more about our place than we do now.  They understood that the tribe and clan was everything, that alone, a person was a match ready to be struck.  There is no one alone, there is no organism in a vacuum, everything comes to fruition via a network of collaboration.  As humans, we have an unfathomable debt to our biological ancestors and all they acheived, and not only as they developed physically, but all the tech and understanding they have handed down.

We have the myth to build ourselves up, that we exist and are a seperate entity.  In truth we share the same genes as fungi.  Without this earth we are nothing, let alone without our family and friends.  As we continue to damage the earth and deny our world kinship, we ponder blindly why essential eco services are in peril as we accumulate guns to sheild us from the storm.  We instead should be accumulating knowledge and realization, adding networks of human reciprocity, and breaking our mirror and gaining the world.

No one lives for themselves.  We live as our ancestors did, to build the bridge to the next generation and to help and to hold our fellow man. To not do so is the ignorance and sin that makes the world a cold and sterile hell.
