Week by week the #photography hashtag has risen the hashtag charts to become second only to #steemit itself. This is thanks in part to original content being appreciated and generously rewarded by all Steemians, but also due to the success of the Steemit Photo Challenge. https://www.steemimg.com/images/2016/08/01/spc289af4.jpg Now just wrapping up itβs second week, @jamtaylorβs monster photo contest has already given away hundreds of dollars worth of prizes. ## The top prize this week is a WHOPPING 150 STEEM! One of the contests biggest supporters is Steemit whale @berniesanders, who has offered to donate 175 STEEM each week to the contest. Funds this week have also come from donations from #tuckfheman, as well as Upvote revenue surrounding the contest. Being part of the judging panel this week was an honour, and from my time behind the scenes I can confirm that every single entry is taken into consideration, and the winner is painstakingly chosen via rigorous debate. The winner will be announced imminently, but keep an eye out for the next photo challenge.
