## Wow, I haven't posted in 6 days. 

So much for my daily "30 Days Writing Challenge"...

First New Year's Resolution abandoned - Check!  ✅


## It's not that I didn't write at all. 

Here is proof: 

**1. I wrote some fiction in the comments of [Steemitri's contest](https://steemit.com/community/@steemitri/steemitri-the-mannequin-contest-pick-a-title-and-write-your-own-story-2-total-prize-6-sbd-or-more)**.

Do you think I have a chance to win? 

This entry was very easy for me, because I had recently bought the exact same closet as he shows in his picture, and I had a lot of fun assembling it with my friend, who pretended it's a coffin during the process...

**2. On a more serious note, I contributed to an article in VICE Magazine, about how welcoming the crypto space is to women.**

The writer did a great job, I think. There are two quotes of mine in there. She included about 10% of what I had sent her (looks like I got a lot to say on the subject :)) so I'm hoping to post the other 90% here soon.

**3. I had a great message convo with @roxane this week. (That counts as writing, too!)**

She's coming to Berlin soon and I invited her to our Bitcoin Girls Meetup, which will be Steemit-themed. As the hard-working and successful Steemian she is, it would be great if she could share her experience with us. 

Of course she's coming with her partner @oroger and they want to meet some of their other Steemit friends in Berlin, too, so I decided to invite the whole Berlin Steemit community to the Bitcoin Girls Meetup - regardless of gender :) to kill several birds with one stone (what a weird expression...).

What better way to onboard potential newcomers to Steemit than by introducing them to a whole bunch of existing Steemians and have a nice drink together?

My 5 column to-do list got a little bit shorter, thank heavens. Not smaller - it still has 5 columns - but at least I could cross out some items. 

One item I had on my list was "ask @suzanevolves for a chat". We've known each other for a long time from The Hague and she moved to Chiang Mai recently. I want to go to Chiang Mai this year before I do my annual 7-day Cleanse in Koh Phangan, so I wanted some tips from her.

Yesterday morning, as I was busy buying some dipping coins, she suddenly rang. "Hey, you're coming here soon, so I thought I'd call to give you some tips!" 

Niiiice one, Universe!! I love when things on my to-do list sort themselves out without any interference on my part... ;)

So I'm hoping to leave here in the first week of February, and I might even run into @sjennon there, who knows :)

I can't quite shake the feeling that I wasted a lot of money NOT posting here for the past 5 days... But also I didn't want to post stupid stuff just to post *something*. That almost feels like stealing from the generous people who have me on auto-vote...
