When it comes to exploring the world, there's no better way to be free and express your freedom.
Back in 2015 I made a jump with my friend, with less than 2 weeks notices, we booked an 11 day cruise throughout Europe and parts of Israel. We realized the cruise was full of old people, but hey at least it was affordable and the buffet was sick! I must have eaten 5x a day and gained about 10 pounds.
The water is crystal clear and beautiful. It was pretty cold for October and there were people and even a dog swiming in it.
Yet one place that really stood out to me was Santorini, Greece. We also ended up visiting Italy and some other places in the Greek islands.
For some reason, Santorini really stood out. Not sure if it was was the sense of peace and freedom. Or it could have been that the houses and place were full of luxury. I mean it costs a lot of money to live in Santorini.
The one thing that kin of disappointed Santorini was the fact that it's so touristy. I'm sure the local businesses love it, but the local residents might now. I know for sure if I was living there, I would want some peace and quiet.
So as you can see, there are a lot of people in this area, but it made it worth it.
Alot of businesses setup to grab attention from tourist. Most tourist buy some snacks and food. I didnt see many people buy clothes since I guess clothes take up alot of room and well, clothes are everywhere.
Also there are lots of stray dogs and cats in Santorini. No worries, they love the tourist and they get fed.
