Early this morning I was in the basement of the county circuit court with about 50 other people . We were all waiting to see if we would be needed for jury duty for the day. I was chatting with the few people who were in close proximity. We were just doing some small talk when somebody said something about something that lead one of the people to say “Well most of the ice is already melted so we don't really need to worry about the ocean rising.” I chuckled a little and he looked at me and started to explain that Gloabl warming was made up and blah blah blah. After he explained his position a question came to me which I then asked him. 

Who directly benefits more from being correct?  

Ok I’m sure other people have said it but looking at  the 2sides the people that would benefit from convincing everyone that Global warming is a farse would $$$$ probably end up richer. If global warming wasn’t a thing, ther would be no reason to put pressure on carbon producing businesses on so forth. 

Let’s not think that the benefit is merely on one side.
Scientists beifit from grants and recognition. Both have monetary and personal benefits.
Also there is money made by switching to renewable resources so those companies would have a reason to fight to convince people that there is a Global warming. 

At the end the guy that I was talking to didn’t really care what I said and went on talking about how all the people who don’t working in this country is the reason why something else is wrong IDK whatever.

I don’t know for sure if there is an acutal Global warming or a climate change is happening. If there is I’m not sure if we, humans, are the cause of it, but I know that there are a hell of a lot of scientists that have say it’s happening. Either way the planet, the people and everything thing else on this world will be better off if we are more conscious in everything that we do.
