There are four practices necessary for growth in God: Put the Word of God first, meditate on the Word of God, practice the Word of God and quickly obey the Holy Spirit.

If we do these four things, if we observe these four things in our own life, we will put ourselves on the condition that God exercises government over us.

We must become more and more sensitive to the commandments of the Holy Spirit, so that we may be quick to obey, prospering in what God is incumbent upon us to do.

There are people conformed in celebrating conquests in the lives of others, but they have not dedicated themselves to apply to promote practices for the conquest of these same things in their own lives. Mainly when we ourselves have before us the constant example of what we need to do.

**"What you also learned, and you received, and you heard, and you saw in me, that I did, and the God of peace will be with you." (Philippians 4.9)**

Some want to see changes, based on examples from other places, but do not want to take responsibility for the promotion of such changes. As if the responsibility was only with those who are in a leadership position. When, in fact, such responsibility is over the lives of all of us.

We all need to do our part. If we all do what others are doing, we will get the same results as those that are enjoying. That's true! But to desire what others have, without doing what they do, is to wish in vain. There are many people frustrated, disappointed, because they do not put themselves in the position of servant.

There is great virtue in the role we perform because we are servants of one another. Giving the greatest example, which was the Lord Jesus, when he washed the disciples' feet.

**"After he washed their feet, and took their clothes, and sat down again at the table, he said to them," Do you understand what I have done to you? You call me Master and Lord, and you say well, because I am. But if I, Lord and Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet, for I have set you an example, so that, as I have done to you, you may do as well. Surely I say to you, that the servant is not greater than his master, nor the greater envoy than he has sent: if you know these things, blessed are you if you do them "(John 13: 12-17)**

Observe the position of greatness of the one who serves. Service being a deliberate act of one another, where I serve my brother today, and tomorrow I can be served. Recalling that even among the main disciples a discussion arose about who would be the greatest of them. And Jesus intervened by teaching that, in his kingdom, things do not happen equally to what has been given in the world, where kings subjugate by force.

**"But you will not be like that, but the eldest among you will be like the youngest, and the one who governs as one who serves." (Luke 22:26)**
