2 weeks ago I decided to venture out and go for a walk by the Mediterranean Sea here in Ashkelon. The Sea is about a 5 minute drive from my house, so I go quite often. The sea truly helps me "get away from it all". In life I find that there are pressures lurking behind every corner of the World. Therefore I choose to go to the sea where pressure doesn't seem to exist. So, last week as I was walking in a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops I vividly remember the sea water crashing up on the shore. I noticed something I hadn't before. As the sea water would go back into the ocean the little pieces of broken sea shells would chime like little bells. What a beautiful sound. Nature even has a way of making beautiful music.

As the sun was shining down on my face I simply closed my eyes and had a moment of silence from the Worlds turmoil. Peace... That is what I think of the Sea - Peace. I remember taking off my flip flops and walking toward the City of Ashdod. Between the dry sand up on the beach, and the very wet sand by the sea there is a certain place (3 feet or so) of sand that is still wet and dry at the same time. I like to walk on this part of the beach because my feet sink down into the sand and make perfect foot prints. Nature even gives us the softest carpet to walk on. Beauty at its best, and its everyday.

I also remember the sun beginning to set. The clouds in the sky began to form a mural of utter most beauty. A painting that even the great Monet couldn't even attempt to catch in its entirety. Truly Nature is the best artist I know.

While walking further down the beach I began singing to myself. There wasn't a person around so I wasn't shy about singing. A place to get away from it all. As I was singing I was gazing out into the Sea. So much water flowing in and out, in and out. Blues, greens, yellows, and purples abound in the sea. Beauty. How was this beautiful place made? Where was it first formed? Who made this beautiful place I suppose is the correct question. Truly, this place in all of its glory did not just appear by chance. There must be a deeper meaning to it all. One answer comes to mind. So, who is the best Artist in the World you might ask? Who is this One that makes such beautiful places to go to and enjoy? Who makes the beautiful pieces of seashells chime like music? Who gives the courage to sing aloud without a care in the World? The answer is simple. It is God.
