22 April is Earth Day and Apple has launched its Earth Day Apple GiveBack plan which will help the environment and give credit to those returning an old or unwanted iPhone. Apple will also donate to Conservation International for every handset it receives through the GiveBack program from now until April 30th.

While doing so, Apple has introduced a robot called 'Daisy', who's based in Austin, Texas. It's made from parts used in Apple's pervious robot named Liam. Daisy is able to disassemble nine different iPhone models at a rate of 200 handsets / hour.
