20-year-olds are the most active in crypto-investment

The South Korean news agency, Yonhap, said that 20-year-olds are the most active in investing in digital currencies. The results are not surprising - young generations from all over the world prefer investing in this new industry, not in stocks or bonds.

The Korea Financial Corruption Protection Foundation has surveyed 2530 people aged between 25 and 64 and found that 22.7% of 20-year-olds are buying crypto. According to the survey, 30-year-olds who invest in crypto is 19.3% and 40-year-olds only 12%. The 60-year-olds who invested in the crypto are only 10.5%, but they have invested the most money.
A total of 70.2% buy crypto as an investment, while 29.8% buy digital currency to pay for goods and services.

In addition, in South Korea, the Blockchain Capital venture capital company seems to have attracted over 2,000 Americans aged between 18 and 34 in November 2017. The results show that 30% of $ 1,000 in Bitcoin or other bonds, but only 2% of them have crypto. Blockchain Capital Managing Director Spence Bogart said:

"The results of the study strengthen our confidence in the future of Bitcoin."

Another London study in December 2017 shows that only 5% of people under 45 years of age have invested in crypto and 11% are planning to invest next year. Two thousand Britons participated in the study. In 2018, one-third of the young generation is expected to invest in the crypto. Young generations show different investment intentions. An example of this is that 35-year-olds in the 1990s would invest in real estate or in different bonds. But most of the 35-year-olds are planning to invest in the decentralized investment future - Bitcoin, Ethereum and others.

Analysts even said that people were choosing Bitcoin for gold. Last year, Philip Streeby of RJO Futures said:

"Bitcoin has stolen much of the market share of gold."

Crisp expert Garic Hillman explained that most people do not trust traditional financial institutions due to the financial crisis in 2008.
