23rd March people are now asking how are they going to get home? I think some may have hoped for being stuck in a resort for free. It crossed my mind for the passengers on the cruise who spent two months or so, but a resort would be obligated to look after you if you are stuck.

I just don't get it as most countries around the world are in lock down or are going into lock down and the British Government reckons they still need to call the holiday makers back.

Yesterday the government requested that anyone on holiday please return as there are an expected 1 million holiday makers travelling around the world. This is what I do't get as the UK is in lock down now knowing that the virus takes up to 14 days before it reveals itself. What is the point if you bring 1 million people back into the system after the lock down has already started.

Just tough shit if you can't get home. I have no sympathy for them obviously as they were dumb to be even travelling.

I say lock them out as if they are too dumb to realise what is going on then they must suffer the consequences. If they have to pay for accommodation for another 3 weeks somewhere else then that is just too bad and something they should have considered. These individuals are not taking the severity of the situation into consideration and obviously don't care.

I didn't get it when we all knew Italy was in a  bad way yet people still went on a skiing holiday there. Holidays are booked way in advance so it is understandable not wanting to miss out or give up something you have been planning. My cousin was one such idiot who went on holiday in Northern Italy and I have told her what a dumb moron she is with no concern for her parents who are in their 80's.

She was shocked that work didn't want her around even though she wasn't sick. My cousin has been to University and is a chartered accountant telling me she has brains,but no common sense. She has come across as a know it all and believe most of the people who are still out travelling are probably the same type of person who don't give two shits about anyone else but themselves.

I firmly believe if a country goes into lock down then if you are outside hoping to travel back then you should have to wait. Lock down is lock down meaning you are locked out. I can't believe the Government is discussing paying for flights to bring these people home and should just write them off for now. The tax payer should not be footing this bill as only the snow flake politicians will fall for this.

Youngsters today don't like being told what to do and have no respect for the law. This I blame on parents who were exactly the same passing on their values to their kids. The UK has many problems and this is why they have this situation right now and why it is even being discussed in parliament. Everyone is just way too soft and they need to see what tough love is all about and grow up.
